Short story review today. This one is on KU blog readers, so if you have that, hop on over to amazon and pick up the copy. There is a whole series written by many different authors called A Howls Romance. I’ve read some others in this collection and when Ryan Michele noted she had one released, I had to check it out.
This story can be read in less than two hours if you are a steady reader. I flipped the first page the night we came back from Montana. You know, I didn’t even read the blurb before I got this story. I just saw it was Ryan’s and said it will be good. ☺️
With the time change from traveling from one side of the country to the other, I couldn’t sleep that first night back. While everyone else was snoozing, I climbed in the world Ryan created that took me back to Montana.
This short sweet story is fast paced instalove, lust, attraction. While you may not always want a story like that, this shifter story is one you will want to read. This alpha wolf came in contact with his mate and took any means necessary to make her his. There were some funny moments, swoon worthy moments, and scary moments. While all this is jam-packed in a quick story, Ryan covers all angles well. You aren’t left hanging or wondering.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Izzy is tired of the hustle and bustle. She is anxious to find a place and call it home. Her personality shined very early on in this story. We got a great idea of her past and what her plans are for the future. I found myself loving her as a character. She had sass, was reserved, but also had heart and love to give.
Carter runs in to Izzy and knows that she will be his mate no matter what. He is all secrets and surprises. Watching him make Izzy melt just had you swooning. He did keep some secrets that had me very upset with him.
Ryan threw a heck of a surprise in this book. I was not expecting the ending and was like WHAT?!?! She jam-packed a lot of heart and content in this short story. I enjoyed the brief journey and like any great author she had me begging for more.
