I’m late to the game, but what else is new in my life. I read quickly but apparently it’s so quick I can’t get blog posts up fast enough. This one released a few weeks ago and is hilariously funny. Seriously if you want a down to earth, funny story, with some love thrown in, then you need to check out Becoming a Vincent by CM Owens.
If you’ve followed me for a while, you will know that I’m a CM fan. Her romantic comedies she has written are fantastic. Sterling Shore series and now The Wild Ones are at the top of my must read for romantic comedy. While I am a huge CM fan I will admit I haven’t read her shifter reads yet. It is in the TBR list. Anyway back to the wild child CM created.
She posted a sneak peek on her website and I was hooked. This story was refreshing. What you will get reading this story is a lot of laughs and no drama. Sometimes I find myself burnt out on the drama and suspense. Don’t get me wrong, I like those stories, but you need a breather. I could read this story over and over again for the laughs alone. You will feel good and fall in love at the same time.
Lilah is the leading lady in this comedy with some romance. She has a small corner in Tomahawk and is a Wild One. If you don’t know what that is, then you haven’t been to Tomahawk. Her validation behind things is hilarious. She is crafty, ingenious, and paybacks are EPIC.
Benson is a mystery. Nobody knows the secrets he is hiding. He finally realizes that the Wild One Lilah is it for him. He will question everything as he dives in to the dead chipmunk corner.
I have so many things I want to say, but then all of it is like…oh that will spoil it for you…I can’t say that. Trust me, you will laugh your ass off in this story. There is a guaranteed HEA and it’s in true Wild One fashion.
If you are scratching your head at this, good, it means you need to check out the crazy. Dive in the deep end and become a wild one today. There are rules to being a Wild One so make sure you follow them 😉.

If you want a hilariously funny read then this is the story for you. There are antics, shenanigans, and pranks a plenty. It was so wonderful to dive it to a book and feel good. I had nothing but happy moods and laughter throughout. The entire Wild One territory of Tomahawk is something you will remember. CM knocked it out of the park with this romance novel unlike any other.
Lilah and Benson are friends but one day there is this imaginary line that might get blurred. Read and see how they fall in to each other while claiming their spot on the corner of the lake.
The secondary characters are just as refreshing as the leads. There is so much fun to be had. It really makes you want to drive out into the woods and find Tomahawk.
There are so many things I can say, but it would ALL be spoilers. Grab this book and see for yourself just how epic and hilarious it is.
