Angels and Demons are back in this epic conclusion of Zoey’s debut series. Being with her series from the beginning I have to say this conclusion was not disappointing at all. I quickly devoured it and fell in love with every detail about the battle raging inside and outside Thea.
If you have been with me since the beginning you will know there was a cliff hanger at the ending of book 2 (thanks for that one Zoey). Not to worry, this story picks up right where that one left off. You will flip the page on your kindle frantically as you move to get to the end of the story.
I am not an emotional reader, it takes a lot to get a tear or watery eye out of me. That said, I became very invested in the characters and some parts had me all squishy with feels. No tears but definite strong feelings.
Cam faces the battle of a lifetime. Not only does he have to save himself, but he has to save Thea. The angels aren’t the only ones that are attacking. Demons are coming to take what Cam treasures the most.
How Zoey wove this story was just fantastic. I was rooting for Thea, Cam, Thea and Cam, and so many others as I read. I really don’t want to spoil this post, but the battle isn’t only externally but internally as well.
I knew who the big bad was going to be but way to pull your heart out Zoey. Couldn’t even imagine what was going to happen in some parts. Although I guessed who the big bad shadow was very early on.
While some parts are explained over again, I didn’t find it repetitive. It was more a reminder of how the hierarchy works in the Angel Realm. Zoey describes it in such depth and detail that I feel like I could read it again and catch a nuance I missed the first time.
Dani became a favorite secondary character for me. I really like how her relationship with Thea from book 2 grew and evolved here in book three. She became a character I want more of (*cough*cough* Zoey 😉). Zak and Amber are back as well. It was heart breaking for me the relationship of Amber and Thea. I actually am hoping for some things for Amber and Thea over the next series (no spoilers, read the sneak peek). I know she reads this so Zoey if you wanna know, PM me and I’ll tell you what I hope to see HAHA.

Anyway, overall this entire trilogy has been phenomenal. I feel blessed that Zoey reached out to me when she published the first in this series. It is a paranormal romance story unlike anything I have read to date. She has a flow and way with words that will have you captured from the moment you begin. I didn’t do a separate review for this one because that explanation above was long enough. Also there is so much going on, that I could go on and on, but it would have spoilers. Plus if you’ve been here since the beginning, you already know the players. Not sure you would enjoy me recapping everything from the first two stories. If you are new to my blog, then the click below for my review of book 1 & book 2. Great job Zoey on a wonderful world, trilogy, and romance. Cannot wait to read your next story!
