It’s RYAN celebration week. I am SO far overdue writing this review and book 3, that you will get both of those before I am on tour with Book 4! Sit back, hop on a motorcycle, and enjoy the ride that is Ravage.
Ravage family has felt like home. Ryan has done an amazing job of making this brotherhood feel real. She has so many unique details and personalities that will surprise you. This is the second book in the next generation of Ravage.
While I love this series, this story I felt didn’t have the same impact for me. Don’t get me wrong, I would recommend this series, but Bound by Desire was a 4 star read for me. I think it had too many dramatic things occurring. It would have been a 5 if it ended differently. This is just my opinion and I still plan to consume all this author writes. I felt what happened at the end to Rylie was just over the top toppings to the drama that already played out. What occurred in my eyes was not necessary to give the same impact of the importance of family, loyalty, and strength.
Rylie is the next generation’s Princess LOL. That girl is a total badass. I liked everything Ryan gave Rylie as a character. She is smart, stunning, and honorable. The whole interaction with her and Princess was the best in my opinion.
Deke … what to say about him … WOW! When the truth came out, I had no words. The interaction with GT and Deke was SO well written. It couldn’t have been more perfect any other way. Ryan NAILED that.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This one fell short of a 5 star for me. It has a lot of moments I FLOVE, but some of the dramatics just felt too over the top for me.
Rylie is the perfect complement to Deke. Ryan couldn’t have written a better girl for him. She has moxie, strength, and a beautiful spirit. I really enjoyed how she fit into the Ravage world, and came to be on Princess’ team. Rylie has a lot in her past that she overcomes and battles. Her fortitude to be a positive light shows just how strong she is. I think she is the perfect mix of what Deke needs in a woman.
Deke has a lot to let go of. I liked the journey he went on to find himself. I think it had more weight in the end and showed the true character of the man he is.
We get to see all of the Ravage family in this one and I enjoyed every moment of it. The author composed this book flawlessly and while it wasn’t my fave of the series, it is still a fantastic read.
