If you are are a fan of L. Wilder’s MC series, then this is a MUST to add to your collection. This is not an MC story but Leslie did a fantastic job of telling Nitro’s tale. She did him justice in my opinion.
Nitro has secrets. We met him with the Satan’s Fury MC and learned about what he’s done in Big’s tale. He deep down has a good heart. He protects it and the ones he loves. Maybe not in the logical way, but he tries to do what is right. When he has to save the girl, he steps up no questions asked. Little does he know that it will hit him like a sledge hammer and shock him to the core.
Tristen has a heart of gold. I love how Leslie wrote her. She had a lot happen to her but overcame it all and had such a positive outlook given what she had to endure. What made me like her as a character was that she got the help and didn’t let it define her. She wasn’t better over night and fought. I loved how she never gave up.
MAX! Oh my goodness Max, the secondary character and when we first met him, I thought ‘man I hope Leslie writes about him’. I would recommend this story to anyone that loves Leslie’s works. I also would recommend this if you are new to L. Wilder. The great thing about this one is it will introduce you to her, without you getting lost.
