Diving back into Alexa Riley’s world, I snagged this book on KU when it went live. As always with Alexa stories, they hit the ground fast and hard to bring you a deliciously sweet romance. I have my habit to read these stories when I’m switching from one lengthy novel to another, and when I’m in the mood for a quick read I can finish in under an hour.
One thing I always like about them, is their stories are sweet, HEA guaranteed, and no real major drama, conflicts, or suspense. It’s just good old-fashioned romance at it’s best. Yes it moves lightning fast, and seems unrealistic at times, but truth be told when you are reading fiction, you don’t always want it to fit the “real world”.

Lincoln knows what he wants. He’s a man who has made it to the top and won’t take no for an answer. When Sophia walks into the terminal to get away from it all his world view changes. In that instant he knows what he needs and will do everything to get it. Like all AR stories, Lincoln is the strong man that will be brought to his knees by a beautiful girl.
Sophia is more innocent that worldly. Not sure what to do, she just knows where she wants to go. Far away and on her own. She feels the pull to be an explorer and find out what the rest of the world is like. When she is stopped before she can board, she is scared and second guessing herself. She doesn’t realize her journey is about to begin.
This story had it all packed into a less than hour read. You get love, romance, steam, passion, and alpha male gruffness. If you love a short quick read that will make you happily swoon, the Flight Risk is the one for you.
