The final in this trilogy is live! What an ending to a fantastic series. Bink has such a way with words. She pulls you in from the very first sentence and only lets you leave when she’s ready. I had so many questions at the end of book two and Bink answered them all in her unique way. This story picks up where book two left off.
Ryker is driving on the bumpy road of redemption. He made the potholes and is trying to ensure the future is paved right. I really enjoyed how much of the story we got from Ryker’s POV. He may be an asshole, but he is Kat’s asshole for life.
Roxie and Scarlet are seen a little more in this story. We get to see their interactions with all of this and it will give you all sorts of squishy feels.
Kat becomes even more phenomenal than she was in the first two stories. She has a quiet strength about her. I think what I love most is that she shows us no matter how ugly life can be, it is also beautiful, happy, and memorable.
Kade, aka dickcheese, surprises me at every turn. I was vibrating with anger at one point. Seriously, I could have reached through my kindle and throttled him. Then just like the amazing author she is, Bink makes my head explode and I’m no longer mad but proud as hell. He definitely felt more serious in this story, but still had that adorable sense of humor. Kat and Kade’s brother/sister bond is amazingly captured. I’ve never had a sibling, but I would hope that if I did, banter like this and unconditional love would be felt.
Rosie, I really need her story. Kinda like yesterday… The best part was when she talked with Ryker. Seriously! Had me fist pumping with excitement!
Ghost and Bear add to the dysfunctional family. It feels natural all the ups and downs. Anyone that says it isn’t messy is blowing smoke. All of these characters show that even with ups, downs, and assholish ways, the family you make sticks with you.
The ending, can I just say the ending was pure perfection. It couldn’t have played out any better than it did. It gave me huge squishy feels but was Kat and Ryker in every way. We also got to see some of the other Sacred Sisters, Bink included, and their interactions with Kat warmed my heart. Through it all family is not only blood but those that step up, show up, and fight for what’s right.
I could not ask for a better story to read. It made me happy, sad, angry, and wowed! This blogger gives it 5 pointe shoes of squishy feels with a side of fluffy tutu tulle.
