Piper Reeds is a new author and her debut novel just released today. If you are looking for a cute read to introduce you to a new author, I suggest giving Piper’s tale a go. I finished it in about an hour, maybe a little less than that, but enjoyed what I like to call a snapshot story. It covers Grace and Michael at a moment in their lives. There is a HFN ending which I really liked considering how short the story was. I think I would have been less inclined to enjoy it if there was a dramatic HEA. All that aside, Piper had me laughing at parts and doing the whole girly squeal of excitement in others. This review will be short, but I hope that you will give this new author a shot. I will keep her on my radar for new releases as I genuinely enjoyed her style of writing.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Grace finally breaks down to see a therapist. She has this fear that something is permanently wrong with her. When Michael Pratt opens the door, she realizes that she will die taking that fear with her….maybe. Michael doesn’t know what to make of the beautiful woman who walked in as his next client. He takes restraint to a whole new level. The question is will this budding attraction build or fizzle out when the hour is up.
I had some laughable moments in this story, which I enjoyed. The characters were well written for this story and they had a good background for the short time the author could build it. It ends in a HFN moment that actually makes me want to come back if she wrote more on them. Overall a great debut novel and I plan to keep tabs on what she has coming out next.
