T.L. Osborn came out with this sweet love story full of second chance romance and feels that will have you screaming into your kindle hoping the characters can hear you. I’m very excited after reading her debut novel, to see what she creates next. Her story was fun, had drama, heart, laughter, and love.
Aria is interviewing for a job. What she doesn’t plan on is the mysterious man who captures her every thought. With the work demanding and her boss arrogant, she has a war between her head and heart. Aria had a great personality. I could relate to her character and felt for her. She had overprotective brothers who gave their input at every turn. Her best friend even had a comment or two. I loved how Aria handled Charlotte. It was perfect in my mind.
Simon is a single dad who just wants to focus on work and his daughter. That is until Aria comes into his life as his PA. He can’t think and wants to do what’s right for Charlotte but also kidnap Aria and lock her away. He was a character I wanted to throttle. I know he had his reasons, but boy did he make me mad.
Aria’s family and friends were so supportive and had me laughing at times. I also love how protective they were of her with Simon and life in general. Aria has had her heart broken and secrets she never planned to tell anyone… but that changed with Simon.
Simon had secrets too and it was hard for him to open up to anyone. His mom and siblings didn’t even know the truth. When all of it comes to light it will be a fight to win Aria’s heart.
T.L. gave me a lot of surprise with this romance story. I thought I knew what was going to happen but she proved my foreshadowing mind wrong. If you like single dads, second chances, laughter, and surprises, then this story is for you. I cannot wait to see what she writes next. For a great romance story, check this one out. I give it 5 pointe shoes because I want to read it again, want more stories about the side characters, and enjoyed the journey this author took me on.
