Are you ready to sweat? If so, get on your gym clothes and hit the treadmill hard. When you do be sure to pick up this newest release from Deborah Bladon.
Brynn can’t seem to stay on the treadmill when Smith walks into to her gym. Yes, I’m calling it her gym, she was there first LOL. Sydney is not sure what to make of her best friend and roommate as the death glare descends upon Smith. He is oblivious to the glare at first and is just causing the girls to sweat.
I never know how Deborah keeps it straight, but she has made another unique female character. The personality is different from all the others (I’ve read them all) and fits Brynn perfectly. She is struggling to make a name for herself without using her name. I admire her tenacity and willingness to not give up or settle for anything less than the best of her. When Smith Booth waltzes back in her life, she has to decide how to let go of the anger and hurt and let in the love that is consuming her.
Smith just wanted to work out and in return ran into the one woman who can bring him to his knees, Brynn. He has a new job, and is enjoying all the perks it has to offer. When he realizes that Brynn hates him vehemently, he will stop the world if it means he can fix it.
Their journey was fun and refreshing. Still the same Deborah style, but I liked this short story. It had a whole lot of heart and feels in it. The pivotal moment for Brynn just hit you STRAIGHT in the feels. I’m not a crier but I could see where some would get a little water in the eyes over it.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
If you want some hate to love romance, then this story is for you. Second chances don’t often come along, and when there is anger involved things can make you sweat! This newest story was an enjoyable short story to read. Full of heart, soul, love, and anger. The fuel they each had for each other was set to blow. When things finally combusted neither Brynn nor Smith were the same.
Brynn just wants to make her mark on the world with her own terms. There are some secrets and anger that will come to head as she faces off with Smith Booth. She will have to find strength to weather the storm and come out on top.
Smith just wants one thing now and that is Brynn. When he finds out that her anger isn’t over what he thought, he will stop at nothing to prove to her that there is a fine line to love.
I would recommend this story. All of the characters were written well and the plots closed up in a way that is typical to this author’s style. If you are looking for some guaranteed HEA love grab this book.
