Another children’s story review to bring you. This one is by Maxine Sylvester and involves an up and coming reindeer, Ronaldo, attending flying school. He is a 2nd year cadet, and overcomes a lot in this story.
Little Man is almost six and we read this aloud together in two nights. It’s 9 chapters and was a fun story with great morals. LM was engrossed with the story, and engaged. He tried to sight read the words he knew as well as asking questions about it. He even was guessing what would happen next.
This family in the story shows what is important and what matters. There were a few areas that went over my sons head, but all in all it was a great read. The part about Rudi and the crush just made him giggle, he didn’t get what was happening, but I think that has to do with his age.
As a parent, I enjoyed how the story moved, the pictures were amazing, and the plot of the story. It was a fun family read that I could definitely see us reading more in the series.

Best line: Imagine! See it, believe it, feel it!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This was a wonderful story. My son who is almost 6 enjoyed us reading it together. He chuckled at the hat, the bath scene made him laugh out loud, and he was cheering for Ronaldo.
The morals of the story were woven in such a way that made my son understand them. It covered bullying and how to handle things that happen and are embarrassing. Little man even engaged in the right and wrong way to respond to things.
Ronaldo wants to do the best he can. He wants to be like Vixen his idol. When the endurance challenge comes to the academy, he wants to work hard, and do his best. This story was engaging and I would definitely recommend it as a family read.
